Natural pool design does not begin with a drawing. It begins with understanding your site, your goals and the specific conditions that will determine how your pool performs over time.
A focused 30 or 60-minute session reviewing your site, goals, style preferences and project constraints. Before the call you share photos, rough measurements and any existing plans. Your consultation fee is credited in full toward your design package.
After reviewing your project we confirm the appropriate tier, scope and fee based on your project size, complexity and ambitions. No pressure — you decide how to proceed.
Site analysis, spatial planning, technical documentation, material recommendations, equipment specification and visual concepts. We communicate clearly at every stage.
All deliverables are provided digitally in PDF and CAD formats — suitable for your own contractor anywhere in the world, or an Aqua Vitae build in Portugal or Spain.

Design-Only
We provide the full design package. You build with your own contractor. Our documentation is contractor-independent — any qualified natural pool builder anywhere in the world can work from it.
Remote & International Design
Full design developed remotely for projects outside Portugal and Spain. We currently serve clients across Europe, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the US and beyond. All communication, site review and design delivery happens digitally.
Self-Managed Builds
For clients managing their own construction — working with subcontractors directly or taking a hands-on role. You receive the same professional design documentation, giving you and your team a clear, accurate plan to build from with confidence.

Can you design a natural pool for a project outside Portugal?
Yes — all design tiers are available remotely worldwide. We currently work with clients across Europe, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the US and beyond. Site visits are available in Portugal and Spain only.
Do I need to have a contractor already?
No. Many clients come to us without a contractor in place. Our design documentation is written to be contractor-independent — any qualified natural pool builder can work from it. If you need help finding a contractor in your region we are happy to advise.
How long does the design process take?
Tier 1 typically takes 2–3 weeks from confirmation. Tier 2 takes 3–5 weeks. Tier 3 timelines are confirmed individually based on project complexity and scope.
Can I start with just a consultation before committing to a design package?
Yes — and we recommend it. A consultation costs from €180 and gives you a clear picture of what your project needs before committing to anything. Your consultation fee is credited in full toward your design package if you proceed.
How is pricing determined for larger or complex projects?
The prices shown are starting points for smaller, more straightforward builds. Larger projects, complex sites, lake-scale systems and international builds are scoped individually following your consultation. Final pricing is always confirmed before design begins — no surprises.
